Jezebel is a pattern in the Bible that simply denotes unauthorized power.
The pattern comes from a king named Ahab.
Kings sit on thrones and rule with appointed and authorised power.
(Note, we’re told we’re Kings now).
Ahab has a wife named Jezebel.
Ahab is passive.
Jezebel is unauthorized yet likes to call the shots.
Let’s take this this pattern and be able to apply it to any kingdom situation so that we can know how to suffocate it.
We don’t need to confront this pattern, but to deprive it of its oxygen.
Ahab didn’t need to confront Jezebel, all he had to do is rule.
Jezebel can't function where authority is present.
Jezebel can't function where abdication hasn't happened first.
Jezebel is tolerated by leaders, not leading.
Everything in the kingdom is a matter of order.
Dysfunction comes from disorder.
We don't need to address the thing that's causing the dysfunction.
We need to address the order that allows it.
We can look for patterns where things have a say, that never should.
If you can identify the pattern, you're able to deprive it of its oxygen and it goes away.
Illness is Jezebel!
Illness is senses and experience, calling the shots in your biology, while the spirit is supposed to be giving life to it.
Jezebel, if you confront it, will convert you, because the only way that Jezebel can lead you is by coercion and volume.
If somebody is trying to gain power with no authorization, the only way that they can do it is by yelling.
And then somebody that's not certain of their authorization will yell back. becoming a mirror version.
Kings don't yell; they decree.
Moses was told to speak to the rock and he would get some water for his people.
He was frustrated with his people. So, he smacked the rock. He was governed by something that he was supposed to have under his authorization and it caused him to respond and he became a violent reflection of the violence toward him and therefore Jezebel converted him.
People are the least practical application of what Jezebel, Abselum, and Leviathan look like.
A migraine is better to flag how it works, because that disorder can only lead you through coercion and volume.
God has a still small voice, your pain and injuries have a very loud one.
If you know that the promises of God are yes and amen and they're apprehended through rest, then rest is a position of authority and authority is a place of dominion. And then things come under subjection when you don't let the things that are yelling at you, pull you off your throne.
Your knee might be trying to preach a different message to you than the one that Christ has put in you in union. So, it's screaming. The pain is way more real than union, right? And then if you're a good solid word of faith guy, you'll scream right back. I command you to be right.
And if you look at Jesus in his authorization, he never yelled, just decreed, softly "Hey, you receive your sight." “Hey, you wake up”
The Jezebel pattern tries to create enough chaos to get you to use force and striving rather than rest and decreeing.
